Water Balloons

This is Maddie's face after she pops a water balloon in the grass. There are also sound effects with this, but obviously you can't here them. It goes something like "ahhhh" :) Here is JJ throwing one into the grass. I encourage only throwing them to the ground vs. at each other. I am not ready to start that yet!

And this picture is JJ's handy work. He loves taking pictures. He doesn't do such a bad job either.

My Front Yard

After I was given this lovely sign to put in my yard and a nice gift card to the local nursery, I was told my yard better look better than it did at the time I was being notified I was a winner. Lawn inspection day is Wednesday so I usually don't mow until Tuesday. I was notified on Monday. What I really wanted to do is yell at the man telling him my husband is deployed, I have two small children, and I have other personal issues way more important than my yard looking "pretty" for their enjoyment. But I kept my mouth shut and mowed my lawn. I'll take that gift card any day!

Block Party

We had a block party down the street last night. Maddie devoured the chocolate cake!

Dress Up

Maddie has started stealing my clean laundry out of the basket when I am folding and putting them on(with some help of course). You might not be able to tell how many layers she actually is wearing in this picture, but it was quite a few!

JJ's First Day of "School"

We enrolled JJ in a Mom's Day Out which started yesterday. He was sooo excited to go. He tells me he ate all lunch of his lunch, went potty twice, and took a nap.
