The reality is setting in.

Leaving Grand Forks wasn't easy. I had to say goodbye to so many people not knowing if I would ever see them again. I guess that is what you have to deal with being a military spouse. I wonder how many times I will have to do this again in my life. I hope not too many. But I can say that I have met life long friends and will keep in touch with them. Maybe we will be stationed at the same base again someday.

The road trip to Mich went really well. Although I left my cell phone in Minneapolis at the hotel, JJ traveled like a trooper!

Kristin's mom made JJ a birthday cake on Sunday at the church potluck. He did not like the frosting sticking to his fingers and shook his hands until it was all flying off! We laughed so hard!

Hopefully today will be better outside. Yesterday it rained all day so we couldn't take a walk. We will try today.

I love the story of JJ not liking frosting. Maybe he has a thing with textures. How are Codes & Libby doing?

**sniff sniff** You are missed here, i keep seeing housing maintainence at your house and I found myself all mad when I thought I say new people already in your driveway, but no, just looking out the rearview mirror and got everything backwards!! hehe

I keep missing your calls. Do you have your cell phone back yet? Ashley did almost the same thing with her first cake. She didn't even realize it was food. She kept sticking her finger in it and then making a yucky face. Priceless.
Let me know when there is another # I can contact you at.
Miss you
